Activities in Northeast Ohio

Northeast Ohio has much to see and do! From the beaches of Lake Erie and touring covered bridges to relaxing at one of the many local wineries, there is something for everyone! Ashtabula County has 19 covered bridges - the most in Ohio - and Conneaut is home to 4 of them!

Fishing Charters

Fishing charters are a great way to get out on beautiful Lake Erie and catch some of the local freshwater fish. Some sought-after fish in Lake Erie are walleye, perch, and some lake trout. Ice fishing is also very popular once the lake starts to freeze.

Looking for a specific activity in Conneaut? There are things to do throughout the entire year. In the summer, you can catch a race at Raceway 7, check out some of the local museums, including the Conneaut Railroad Museum, or visit an Ashtabula County Winery. One of our most popular activities is the D-Day reenactment in August!
