Centennial Inn Bed & Breakfast

This house was built in the early 1800s by Dr. John Venen. Dr. Venen was the first medical doctor in Conneaut, Ohio. The bed and breakfast has been beautifully remodeled to include modern amenities, while keeping the historic charm. We are located in the heart of Conneaut in a historic, neighborhood community. Some local attractions include Lake Erie, covered bridges, fishing, Amish country, and much more!

POLICIES:

Owners reserve the right to have guests removed from the property without a refund immediately upon finding any abuse of the policies listed below:

Guest policy

All guests are to be present at the time of check in unless prior arrangements are made with the owners. For example, if a person checks in as a single occupant, no one else is permitted in the room or on the property unless prior permission was obtained and arrangements were made before checking in.

Breakfast

Breakfast is complementary only for guests staying in the bed and breakfast.

Owner Privileges

The owners reserve the right to enter the premises of all our facilities when guests are not present to attend to housekeeping matters.

Locked Doors

Guests are given the front door code at the time of check-in. The code is strictly confidential and not to be shared with any other person other than the registered guest. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Smoking

No smoking/vaping will be tolerated anywhere on the property. Any damage to the property as a result of smoking will result in a $250 fee for cleaning/repairs.

Alcoholic beverages

We allow small personal drinks or a bottle of wine. However, behavior related to the excessive use of alcohol will not be tolerated and will result in immediate expulsion from the property with no refund.

Neighbor policy

All guests are to be considerate of the other guests and maintain quiet especially between 10 PM and 8:30 AM.

Pets

No pets are allowed on the property. The owners of the Centennial Inn Bed and Breakfast do have a dog that may appear on the property, but will be kept away from the guest quarters.

Children

Parents or guardians must keep their children within reach at all times as appropriate. No one under 18 is to be unsupervised anywhere inside the buildings or on the property.

Re-rooming fee

If you are unhappy with the original room you booked and we have another room available, we will gladly change your room to one of our other available rooms for a minimum $25 fee (not including the upcharge of the desired room, if applicable).

Late checkout fee

If you fail to check out on time (checkout is 11:00 am EST M-Sat and 10:00 am EST on Sun.), a fee of $50 will be charged for every 30 minute interval until checked out.

Note: If there are any items left behind on accident after check out, the guest will be charged shipping to send the item back. If any items are left behind on purpose after check out, there will be a $100 fee to pick up the items.
